What is the Scrapbooks.com Return Policy?

We have a generous 60-day, no questions asked, 100% Money Back Guarantee. If you decide you do not want the products you ordered, you may return them, undamaged and unopened, within 60 days of the date we shipped them, and we will refund you the value of the products. We encourage our customers to inspect the contents of their package(s) as soon as their order arrives to ensure that they have plenty of time to take advantage of the refund policy. Scrapbooks.com is unable to issue refunds after the 60-day-period has elapsed.

To qualify for the refund, product(s) must arrive at our warehouse within 60 days of the original shipment and in the same condition in which it was shipped - unopened, unused, and undamaged merchandise. Please repack the products carefully for the return trip to avoid damage in transit. If the product arrives damaged, we will assume the product was damaged prior to being shipped. Products that have be opened, used, or damaged will not be accepted for return and will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. If you believe there will be a problem with the product reaching us within the 60-day return period, please contact our customer service department and they will work with you to make special arrangements.

For customers' protection, we maintain meticulous quality control on products shipped out of the Scrapbooks.com warehouse. On rare occasions, a customer will inform us that they open a product packaged by the manufacturer that has some damage unseen in our product inspection. The manufacturer should replace this for you. If the manufacturer information is not available on the packaging itself, please contact us and we will provide you with instructions for contacting the manufacturer for a replacement product.

If you have to return product to us due to a packing error on our part, we will, of course, refund your return shipping costs. Please note that the original shipping charge is nonrefundable.

Do you have a catalog?

We no longer offer a catalog - our website officially serves that capacity and is a "virtual" catalog. Please do not submit mail orders from previous catalogs. All our scrapbook supplies are now found in the online store and include images, prices, and product descriptions. Everything you need to know is on the website.

How much will I be charged for shipping?

Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of your package (including box weight), your requested shipping speed, and the distance the package travels. Our shipping fees are not calculated based on the value or quantity of the items in your order. A modest handling charge is normally applied to international packages and is reflected in the shipping charge. We do not charge any handling fees on domestically shipped packages (US or APO/FPO addresses). If you would like to know how much your shipping charge will be, simply place the item(s) in your shopping cart, then enter your shipping address and press the "Continue" button. Your shipping charges will be calculated for you before you are required to enter any billing information.

Do you ship to international destinations?

Yes, Scrapbooks.com ships to many international destinations. Currently, Scrapbooks.com ships to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom (Any State) and select others. We also ship to each of the 50 United States, as well as US territories and military PO boxes. If we do not currently ship to your country and you are interested in purchasing from our store, please contact our customer service team here and suggest your country. When we hear from enough people in a given country, we will begin looking at shipping to that country.

How do I place an order?

Ordering from Scrapbooks.com is simple.
First, locate the page of the item you would like to purchase, then click the order button on that item's page. The item will then be placed into your online shopping cart. If you would like to purchase additional items, click the "Keep Shopping" button located below the shopping cart.
 
You will see that the quantity of each item in your shopping cart defaults to one. If you wish to order two or more of any item in your cart, just change the quantity in the quantity field to reflect the amount you wish to order. After you have selected your desired quantities, simply click the "Update Quantities" button located below the shopping cart.
 
You are now ready to check out. Click on the "Check Out" button located below the shopping cart. At this time, you will be viewing our secure on-line ordering form. The order form is broken down as follows:

 

Page One

        • Review your order to ensure it is accurate
        • If you have a coupon code, enter it here. Be sure to enter in the coupon code exactly as issued. Otherwise, the computer may not accept the code. Only one coupon may be used per order
        • Enter the shipping address for where you would like the package to be sent
        • Select the appropriate shipping method
        • Click "Continue"


    Page Two

      • Enter your billing address (if it differs from your shipping address). If your billing and shipping address are the same, select "Use Shipping Address"
      • Enter your e-mail address. We will send a verifications e-mail to the address you provide once your order has been received. We will also send you a notice when the package has shipped along with package tracking information (tracking is only for domestic orders)
      • At this point, please provide any comments you'd wish us to see, including special instructions, in the comment box
      • Select your preferred payment method and provide payment information
      • Confirm your order. If the information is correct, click "Send Order." If you need to adjustments or corrections, click on the relevant "edit" button. You can change any piece of information provided that your order has not been submitted
      • Click "Place Order" to submit your order

    • The last screen confirms your order and gives you your order number. Please print this page for your records. If you do not get a confirmation page, please contact us to confirm that your order was received and processed.

How will I know that my order was received?

You should receive a confirmation e-mail from Scrapbooks.com within minutes of placing your order. If you have not received it within 24 hours, please contact us here for assistance.

AOL USERS, please be aware that AOL’s automatic SPAM filters have been intercepting all forms of e-mail from the Scrapbooks.com store and putting the SPAM folder to be deleted. These include, but are not limited to, order confirmation e-mails and shipping e-mails (which contain tracking numbers for packages). If you do not receive an order confirmation e-mail, please first check your AOL SPAM folder before contacting customer service.

When should I expect to receive my order?

At the time you place your order we do everything possible to quickly process, pack, and ship your order. Currently, we ship "standard shipping" orders within 1-3 business days. From our warehouse in Mesa, Arizona there will be additional shipment days until your package arrives. We know you are anxious to get your orders and scrap, so we strive to get your order to you quickly.

Orders that are placed with RUSH or QUICK shipping options are shipped on the same day they are placed, provided that the order is submitted before 12PM MST. If the order is not submitted before 12PM MST, it will ship the next business day.

How can I find the status of my order?

A few hours after your ships to you, we send you an order status e-mail which notifies you that your package has shipping. This e-mail will contain order tracking numbers for packages shipped domestically. This will permit you to track your package while it is in transit. If, at any time, you need information concerning the status of your order, you are able to can access your order info from our order status page.  If you need additional assistance, please contact us here or call 1-800-SCRAPBOOKS (1-800-727-2726) 8:30 AM-5:00 PM PST M-F. What do I do if I need to make an adjustment to my order?

If you need to make changes to your order, and it has not yet shipped to you, our customer service department will be able to help you.

We make every effort to accommodate our customers' requests. If you would like to add to your order, please be aware that these additions may lengthen the order processing time. For this reason, we encourage customers who are interested in adding more than one or two items to place a separate order.

What happens if an item in my order is found to be out of stock?

Scrapbooks.com operates on a real-time inventory system, so you know if an item is in stock at the time your order it. Unfortunately, sometimes human beings either miscount items before they're entered into the system or miskey the numbers into the system. If that occurs, and it occasionally does, an item we show as "in stock" will not actually be on the shelf when we go to pick it for you. If an item you ordered is found to be out of stock, we will deduct the amount of the out-of-stock-item from your order total and adjust your shipping charge to a lower rate, if applicable.

We understand that there may be occasions in which you are not able to use particular supplies unless your receive your entire order. In these cases we ask that you to make this known in the "Comment Section" of the order you submit. We will then know to contact you if one or more items in your order are unavailable.

We do not accept backorders at this time.

Scrapbooks.com no longer sells to wholesale accounts. Scrapbooks.com is a retailer and does not offer wholesale pricing. We do offer discounts on some bulk purchases, but you must contact Customer Service here with your requests to see if this would be available for your particular purchase.

I received my order, but a product doesn't operate correctly. What can I do?

If your product arrives safely, but has a manufacturing defect, please contact our Customer Service team . The manufacturer will have to be contacted to replace the item, and our team can either give you the contact information or contact them for you, depending on what the particular manufacturer's instructions are for such occurrences. An Electronic Book (E-Book) is a downloadable product, and not something that will be shipped to you. If you need help downloading, please see the Downloadable Product Instructions.

I purchased and downloaded an E-Book and it just wasn't what I was looking for. Can I get a refund?

We want you to be happy with your purchase, and will refund your money if you are not satisfied with the purchase. Please be aware that you must contact us within 60 days of your purchase to receive the refund. After that time, we no longer have access to your credit card information and will not be able to honor the request.

How do I access my downloadable items after checkout?

Downloadable Instructions:

To access your E-Cut or E-Book, please follow these steps:

  1. Locate to the confirmation e-mail you received from Scrapbooks.com when you placed your order.
  2. At the bottom of the confirmation e-mail there will be a link that says "You can always find out the current status of your order by going to…" Left-click on that link. You will then be taken to the order confirmation page of our order processor.
  3. On your order confirmation page, after the listing of each downloadable product, you will see a red rectangle labeled "Download Now." Left-click on the rectangle. This will take you to a page that will ask for your credit card number to verify that you are authorized to download the items. You will not be charged for anything; this is for verification.
  4. After you have entered your credit card information, you will see the order confirmation page of the order processor again. This time, right-click on the red "Download Now" rectangle and a menu will display.
  5. On the menu, select the option that says "Save Target As." Select the location on your hard drive where you want to save the downloadable product. Make sure to note the location where you are saving the file, so that you easily find your downloads when they are complete. The files will then be saved to your hard drive
